How guides are made

These guides are researched from primary and agency sources — including the USGS Mineral Commodity Summaries, the World Gold Council, the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), the International Energy Agency (IEA), and company filings — and drafted with AI assistance, then reviewed and edited by me before publishing.

Figures are quoted as multi-year or full-year averages and are estimates that change over time. Each guide states its “data as of” date and is revised on the cadence noted at its end. The guides are educational and not investment advice — always verify any figure against the cited primary source before relying on it.
